Yes. Well, at least don't take the bait. It takes two people to fight. My brother was always horrid to me, but when I refused to fight with him, it stopped. Just say, "Whatever," in a completely neutral tone, like you couldn't care less. Then walk away, go on about your business because you have better things to do than argue with him. He'll get the picture eventually. And if he asks, tell him you guys are too old for all the childish arguments, and it's time to grow up. Say it like it's the most natural and obvious thing in the world, then go on about your business again. It's no fun to argue with someone who won't argue back.

When you say he "hurts" you, what do you mean? If we're talking about a punch in the arm, then that's just normal sibling stuff. If we're talking about a punch in the face, or worse, then that's real abuse and should be stopped immediately. If that's happening, you need to tell your parents.
